KrispyKreme
KrispyKreme has made its way to Japan.
There are huge lines and people buying dozens of donuts but at twice the price of the US. Why go to the inferior KrispyKreme and pay about $1.50 for a tiny donut when there is the great Mr Donuts.

Happy New Year.
I walked past there today and saw the huge lines. It’s constantly crowded there. I wonder how long it’ll last.
Comment by Dan — 1/19/2007 @ 6:38 amAt the moment, its a license to print money!
Hello! Yeah I also took a photo of the huge line-up yesterday. At first glance I thought they were giving away doughnuts but far from it. Very overpriced!
Comment by Kate — 1/19/2007 @ 8:02 amDoes anyone know why it is so popular??? I can’t fathom it.
Why eat donuts (or doughnuts) when you can eat mochi?
Comment by Emily — 1/19/2007 @ 1:15 pmHi Andy,
do you miss BIG WORLD 21 ?
We miss you, Andy. Come back to BIG WORLD 21 anytime.
Is there a Ms Donuts in your country ?
Comment by Eiji — 1/26/2007 @ 7:35 amHaving compared both franchises I’ll have to go with Mr. Donut hands down.
(Aside from the fact it is the ONLY place I’ve known to have a full blown donut selection coupled with a full blown Ramen bowl selection.)
