For Melina’s 3rd birthday, both Suzuna and I made birthday cakes. She made a healthy macrobiotic strawberry cake, and I made a dairy-free American style strawberry cake. Melina just ate the strawberries off both cakes.
On a particularity nice Sunday we decided to take a drive to Soileyu seaside park as we heard there are lots of things for kids to play on. The yellow flowers were in full bloom, we rode the Ferris wheel, played on the jungle gyms and slides, and went down the sledding slope.
Everyone enjoyed this years Setsubun sushi and bean throwing party again this year. The lucky direction was south-south-south-east and Melina was able to eat a whole sushi roll all by herself.
